Go Hotels North EDSA Review

Go Hotels are budget hotels developed by Robinson's Land Corporation under JG Summit Holdings. These hotels operate through out the Philippines with the "Book early, Pay Less" concept, which is just perfect for those who avail budget-friendly stay during their budget travels. This is coinciding with air flights which have the same concept. Most hotels do the opposite as it is a standard worldwide.
As it is a budget hotel basic amenities include a shampoo with conditioner and soap. It has a modern vibe but space is not that much, which is not an issue esp. for us solo travelers. Toilet and Shower feature modern styles but it is really small but again it is not an issue with me because I don't stay too much in these places, lol. Addt'l kits are available in the hotel lobby. There are two bath towels and a hand towel.
From time-to-time, they offer good deals for as low as 600. Regular rates play at around 1,500.
The lighting is really good and you have a bedtime lamp that serves also as an accent light and a night time lighting. The Windsor beds are really comfortable. You also have the control to the air conditioning.
Each room is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a 24″LED TV with cable, option of two (2) single beds or one (1) double bed, full vanity mirror, two (2) pillows, duvet, intercom, in-room safe, bath towel, hot and cold shower, single-use soap and shampoo, and toilet paper.

One thing I find odd about the hotel is that there is no hairdryer and foods are not allowed to be eaten inside the room although you can bring it up in the room, you can't just eat it there. (Maybe to lessen the jobs of the staffs since this is a quality budget hotel.) Snacks and vending machines are available also at the hotel lobby. Outside calls can be done also in the hotel lobby. The telephone in the room is an intercom and it only allows room-to-room and hotel lobby contact. Although from afar, it looks like there is a terrace in every room but there isn't. The windows are clear sliding ones but can only be opened to an extent in order to avoid accidents, I guess. There is also a vault for your valuables.
This is the toilet, the opposite is the shower room.
You can also request for cleaning the room, just hang the sign outside the room from 11 am to 2 pm.
My messy dirty bed.
Upon checking out, they check the room for damages or lost items as usual.
What I like about the Go Hotels is that most of the locations are strategically located to key cities. For instance is this North EDSA location, it is really near in SM City North EDSA and Trinoma (directly connected to the MRT), so if you're attending to an event esp. at the SkyDome, this is perfect for you.
Go Hotels is now at Bacolod, Butuan, Cubao-Quezon City, Dumaguete, Ermita-Manila, Iloilo, Mandaluyong, Manila Airport Road, North Edsa-Quezon City, Ortigas Center, Otis-Manila, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban and soon in Timog-Quezon City, Iligan, Naga, Tuguegarao.
This is not a paid advertisement and this is a personal experience.
